Silver Gate is located in the Northeast section right outside Yellowstone National Park.  The park is a very popular destination for local and international travelers to visit. It is a fairyland with unique hydrothermal and geologic wonders. Established in 1872 as the first national park in the United States.

Below is a photo of a herd of buffalo passing through the cabin property. This is normal here in Silver Gate and we love that our guests get to experience nature right outside their doors. Our cabins fill up pretty fast for the summer season so booking early is always a smart idea especially to avoid disappointments.

If you would like to experience Yellowstone from a calmer, less crowded vantage point then we believe Silver Gate is the perfect place for you. We offer accommodation for all size groups so whether you are traveling by yourself, your family or a large group we can make your stay the most enjoyable part of your holiday. Check out our cabins for availability!

Since Yellowstone is a seasonal park it can be challenging for visitors to find adequate accommodations. The park itself has limited space for visitors to stay overnight or for a couple of nights. In 2018 more than 571,000 people visited the park with the busiest month being July. The peak season for visitors is from May through September. Not a lot of people visit Yellowstone during the winter when most of the park is only accessible by snowmobile or snowcoach.

Silver Gate Lodging is in a unique position because of the town's proximity to the park. Less than 1 mile from the NE entrance to the park this quaint little town offers guests the luxury of multiple lodging options and easy access to the park without the crowds. A little hidden gem in a part of Yellowstone that will make you feel like you are in the Swiss Alps. Enjoy a slower pace and take your time to get to know the magical spots of Yellowstone knowing you have a comfortable bed waiting on your return. It is always best to spend more than one night if you can.
